Micromax A102 Canvas Doodle 3 Full Review: A bigger Canvas with even bigger disappointment

Micromax had recently launched the third installment of Canvas Doodle.  Which is a phablet series brought by Micromax in the 2012. It's Micromax A102 Canvas Doodle 3. A large name but it surely suits for a phablet especially for one with six inch giga screen. The Device launched with a price tag of Rs.8,500 which makes it a low budget device. Theres more at full review below but before that let me recall that it's not a flagship device. Why I write this cause from few weeks i had seen many peoples addressing Canvas Doodle 3 as the flagship device of Micromax. The Latest Flagship from Micromax is Micromax Canvas Knight.

Now Lets Get ahead for the spicificational review of Canvas Doodle 3.

6 inches Micromax A102 Canvas Doodle 3 full review

Body Design

The device have the same typical canvas look and the same poly carbonate plastic. Which means you won't get any premium looking body. But The thing here is definitely the size which is a plus point of the device cause I always say making a 6 inches smartphone is very very risky and by the looks of Doodle 3 I think Micromax had made a right decision.

Screen and Display
6 inches Micromax A102 Canvas Doodle 3 full review

Micromax Canvas Doodle 3 had a 6" inches FWVGA (480 x 854 pixels) multitouch enabled Capacitive Touchscreen with the pixel density of 163 ppi . There is no specefic glass or screen like TFT or IPS its Just a simple touchscreen. Your Reaction on this "Are you kidding me" we're not. Its really upsetting with the device display. Having FWVGA  display on a a 6 inch screen device just imagine the quality of the display you will get. Very disappointing.

Network

Doodle 3 is a Dual Sim smartphone with the support of following networks.
2G Network - GSM 900 / 1800
3G Network - HSDPA 2100

Camera

Canvas Doodle 3 have a 5 MP autofocus rear Camera which can capture pics at the resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. There is also a Front VGA camera for your selfies. You can record videos too.

Software and Processor

Doodle 3 runs on Android 4.2.2 jelly bean with the processor of 1.3 Ghz Dual Core powered by Mediatek MT6572 chipset. There will be no lag in the processing unless you are a heavy gamer or multitasker.

Storage

The Device have the onboard storage of 4 GB and a RAM of 512 MB . If you won't push it the limits it is fine.

Battery

Doodle 3 comes with a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery which is more than enough for this huge phone.

Conclusion

There is nothing in this smartphone which will attract me to buy this. So it's a downgrade device and  i would give this smartphone only 1/5 In this Price Range Nokia X is far more better than this.
